Catherine Chow-Rempel is an audio engineer, producer, composer, and music director based in Sydney, Australia and Calgary, Canada.

She holds a Bachelor of Music (Audio) from the Australian Institute of Music and works across recording, production, composition, and live performance. Her work spans collaborative songwriting, broadcast and sync projects, film and underscoring, vocal production, and live session engineering.

Catherine has produced and mixed commercially released music, including recent releases by Veera Varis, and produced Piano Lullabies: Great I Am for Hillsong Kids. She has engineered acoustic and studio sessions for Hillsong Worship, and has worked extensively on multilingual vocal production and engineering for Hillsong Korean, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Kids projects.

Alongside her studio work, Catherine is an active musician and music director. She regularly music directs and plays keys at Hillsong Church, performs as a session pianist for weddings and events, and has appeared at venues including the ICC Darling Harbour Theatre (Tiktok Entertainment Centre), The Vanguard, Mary’s Underground, Evan Theatre, and The Art House Wyong.

Previously, Catherine was a core audio engineer at Hive Sound Studios, where her role extended beyond engineering into marketing and music publishing. Her contributions included engineering sessions with Australian Idol and pioneering a formal collaboration between Hive Sound Studios and the Australian Institute of Music.

In addition to her creative work, Catherine leads a production team at Atomi, where she works across voiceover production, video editing, audio post-production, and team and project management. This role reflects her strength not only as a creative, but as a reliable leader trusted with high-volume, high-impact content.
